Maveon introduces today a rebuilt Plans experience, turning what used to be a simple list of trips into a connected hub for everything ahead, in progress, or already behind you.

The rework touches every part of planning, from the moment a plan is created to the moment a visit becomes a memory in Diary. Three pieces carry the redesign: a new Plans Hub, an interactive Plan Canvas for each plan, and a smarter way to add, organize and stay on top of what's inside it.

A hub for everything ahead

Plans is no longer a flat list. It has been rebuilt into a central hub that automatically organizes every plan into Now, Soon, Later and Past, with the most relevant one appearing as a larger hero alongside a helpful next action.

  • Auto-organized. Plans sort themselves into Now, Soon, Later and Past as their dates approach and pass.
  • One plan, front and center. The plan that matters most surfaces as a hero with a clear next step.
  • Find anything fast. Search and filter by title, destination, items, status, favorites, sharing or date.

A calmer start, a smarter Canvas

Creating a plan now takes one clean flow: a destination, an optional title and optional dates, then a choice between Quick create, AI Planner, Plan Tonight and Templates from the same sheet. Every new plan opens straight away, in a new Plan Canvas built around an interactive map, a day picker and a native planning sheet that stays interactive behind it.

  • Map and timeline, in sync. Selecting a day, a marker or an item keeps the whole Canvas aligned.
  • Routes on the map. Items connect with a route, shown dotted for flights.
  • Clearer items. Restaurants, hotels, activities, flights, trains, cars and notes each get their own color, icon and details, with safer confirmation when editing or removing one.

Add faster, stay on top of it all

A new Quick Add sheet makes it easier to add restaurants, hotels, activities, flights, notes, trains and cars, with smarter search around a plan's destination and a refreshed flight lookup that includes live results, recent flights, route details and aircraft information. Hotels booked across multiple days now stay grouped as one logical stay.

Every plan also gets a new Plan Inspector, bringing dates, item count, checklist progress, Diary visits, budget, spending, discoveries and smart attention points into one place, alongside the ability to invite people, edit the plan or manage its checklist.

Plans that look out for you

Plans can now catch what's easy to miss: overlapping items, unrealistic travel time between them, a missing hotel or a checklist item that needs attention before departure. Every suggestion shows a clear preview before anything changes, and a rejected suggestion stays dismissed instead of resurfacing.

Plans and Diary, finally in sync

A visit logged during an active plan can now be matched automatically to the right item, based on date, type, place, location and time, with undo feedback when Maveon is confident, or a quick confirmation when it isn't. Spontaneous visits during a plan can be added as discoveries, and completed items become Diary memories without creating duplicates. Active plans appear in Diary as soon as they begin, while future items stay out of sight until they could plausibly have happened.
